A family project
It all started with a house.
For a long time, we had been dreaming of finding a home in the beautiful Marche region of Italy. When we discovered our palazzo in Monterubbiano, we immediately fell in love — not only with the house itself, but with the village too.
Monterubbiano, nestled between the Adriatic coast and the Sibillini Mountains, is a place where the scents of wood, herbs, sea, and mountains blend into something truly special.
We wanted to bring that experience — those fragrances and that feeling — into something we could share. And so, Corpo Santo was born.
Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches using only natural ingredients. Because each batch is made by hand, the shape, color, and scent may vary slightly — a reminder that nature never repeats itself.
We wanted our soaps to be simple, sustainable, and nourishing for both body and soul. It began as something we made for ourselves, but now we’re delighted to share it with you.
And the house? We’re still lovingly restoring it — preserving its history, stone by stone — and hope that we soon can welcome family and friends to share it with us
The Craft
Each Corpo Santo soap is carefully handmade in small batches, using only natural ingredients such as olive oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil, shea butter, pure essential oils, and gentle colorants like clay or mica.
With the traditional cold process method, every bar takes about 4–6 weeks to cure, allowing the ingredients to transform into a nourishing soap rich in natural glycerin.
Inspired by our Italian village of Monterubbiano – its scents, its landscapes, and our own cherished memories – each soap carries a story of nature, care, and place.
